“Alex was a great guide and this was a beautiful hike! I wasn't aware of just how hard this hike would be (1000 meters/3200 feet) of elevation gain over about 4 miles, which included rock scrabbling and using a cable assist in 2 places but it was well worth it! I was grateful Alex let me use his hiking poles on the way down because it is VERY steep and my legs were like overcooked spaghetti noodles by the time we started decending.”

Piatra Craiului offered a nice option to hike on a different type of mountain. Unfortunately the weather was not on our side, the fog hided the mountains and we couldn’t do the whole trail. The lunch break at the hut was anyway really nice. And on the way back we hiked through a very impressive gorge! In spite of the weather circumstances our guide Ovidiu did his best and the hiking was a great experience! He was a reliable, nice and professional guide! Also…”

We spent a full day exploring and we got to visit two peaks. All the colours from the trees were at the beggining of changing colour so we got so many beautiful pictures along the way.”
